Safe Interventions, formerly known as Youth Assist was founded in 1995, and established as a Nationwide company that specializes in secure adolescent transportation services and crisis interventions. At Safe Interventions, we strive to help families in a professional, yet compassionate manner, while always treating the adolescent with dignity and respect.
We specialize in working with adolescents who are resistant to treatment options, and in many cases refuse to get help, and go to treatment. We have extensive experience in working with adolescents who suffer from mental illness, or psychiatric conditions, adolescents who are using or who have used various street or prescription drugs, and adolescents with suicidal, homicidal and self-mutilating tendencies. At Safe Interventions we do a thorough clinical interview with the family prior to meeting the adolescent. We believe the interview helps us understand their family’s particular situation.
Safe Interventions has remained a small “boutique” style business on purpose. We are not willing to sacrifice quality for quantity. Safe Interventions believes our clients deserve personalized, professional attention. We care about the families we work with, and customize each intervention and transportation specifically with the family’s needs in mind. We want the family, and eventually the adolescent or adult client to feel completely comfortable, and trust that we will help them in their time of need. At Safe Interventions, we take the time to listen to exactly what the family needs and wants, then help guide the family through the process. Safe Interventions will keep in touch via text throughout the transport and intervention. We will also call and give a detailed follow-up once the adolescent has arrived safely at their destination.
If you have completed or are close to completing your admission to a program, facility or hospital and need help transporting your adolescent to treatment, please contact Safe Interventions toll free at #1-877-877-3356. We will be glad to assist in any way, and answer any questions you may have.
